I discovered a love for teaching when I was in the eighth grade, and I've rarely looked back. My delight comes from helping others discover their strengths whether it is young readers, foreign language students or struggling learners.
I am a member of several professional educational organizations across the country. I have a M. Ed. with focuses in Special Education, Reading, and Autism. In addition, I am a certified life coach with endorsements in general life skills and joy restoration (aka grief support).
When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my three sons and our cat, Princess. I love to cook and sew, and visitors will usually find a couple of projects in-progress throughout my home.
I offer a complimentary one-hour service to go over the process with the student and their family. After this initial consultation, I follow up with the family to recommend an appropriate service for their needs.
I offer a complete service that includes evaluating the student's academic record, establishing reachable goals, and advocating for the student.
